Jefferson lab to host regional science bowl for high school students

NEWPORT NEWS — Jefferson Labs is now accepting applications for the 2019 Virginia Regional High School Science Bowl.

Deadline to register is Jan. 12 and applications are accepted on first-come, first-serve basis.

Twenty teams of five high school students, including one alternate, will compete to solve problems and answer questions related to math and science and the winning team gets an all-expenses paid trip to the national competition in Washington, D.C. where one team from each regional event will compete for awards and other prizes.
