Oct. 3 is National Coffee with a Cop day and a few of the region’s police departments will be hosting open hours at various locations for citizens to stop by and chat.
The event is free and open to the public, no sign up needed.
Newport News
North Precinct – Belgian Waffle and Steak House on 14700 Warwick Blvd. from 8 to 10 a.m.
Central Precinct – Angelo’s Steak and Pancake House from 8 to 10 a.m.
South Precinct- Community room of the Piggly Wiggly from 8 to 10 a.m.
Hampton
Krispy Kreme Donuts at 3400 West Mercury Blvd. from 9 to 11 a.m.
Virginia Beach
Dunkin’ Donuts at 4877 Shore Drive from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
