NEWPORT NEWS — The World Arts Celebration on Saturday has been canceled “due to inclement weather,” organizers said/
The event was supposed to commemorate more than 30 cultures from around the world at City Center through performing arts, food and music, according to a news release from the city.
The Wailers band was scheduled to headline the weekend ceremonies but will instead play at Boathouse Live at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
