
NEW KENT— Colonial Downs Racetrack, Roseshire in Henrico, and Rosie’s Richmond will welcome guests this Saturday for the running of the 152nd Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs Racetrack. Colonial Downs, Roseshire, and Rosie’s Richmond will be Central Virginia’s only locations to watch and wager on the first leg of horseracing’s Triple Crown.
To celebrate Derby Day, Colonial Downs will welcome race fans with a free trackside watch party, live music, food trucks, and more.
Roseshire and Rosie’s Richmond will also welcome race fans with great food, drink, entertainment, and live simulcast wagering on racing’s biggest day.

During Saturday’s Kentucky Derby, Virginia race fans will be cheering on Incredibolt, winner of the 2026 Virginia Derby which was held on March 14 and served as the Commonwealth’s only Kentucky Derby qualifier race. By winning the Virginia Derby, Incredibolt, his trainer Riley Mott, and jockey Jaime Torres, secured a spot in the sport’s biggest race.
