WILLIAMSBURG— After a long wait, Hangry Joe’s is now open in James City County.
Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings is part of a growing wave of fast-casual restaurants capitalizing on the popularity of Nashville-style hot chicken, a trend that continues to gain traction across the country. Founded in 2021, the brand has expanded rapidly through franchising, bringing its menu of customizable, spice-forward chicken sandwiches, tenders, and wings to an increasing number of communities. With heat levels ranging from mild to extremely spicy, the concept appeals to customers seeking both flavor and personalization.
The store features kiosk-style ordering so guests can completely customize their order. Prices range from $8 to $16.
After months of construction delays, the restaurant held a soft opening in March. Details on a grand opening are still to come.
The store is located in Lightfoot Marketplace, 6497 Centerville Road, Suite 302. It is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:25 p.m.
