WILLIAMSBURG — Hospice House of Williamsburg announced the return of its Elegant Culinary Affaire fundraising event Sunday, Jan. 25 at the Williamsburg Lodge.
The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. For 35 years, the Elegant Culinary Affaire has been a cornerstone event for Hospice House of Williamsburg, it said, raising vital funds to support its mission of providing dignified, compassionate hospice care and bereavement services to families throughout the region.
The anniversary celebration will feature chefs from several Williamsburg-area restaurants who will prepare a variety of dishes showcasing the region’s culinary talent, the nonprofit adds. Guests “will enjoy an elevated dining experience in an elegant setting as the event honors both its history and its impact on the community.”
Proceeds from the Elegant Culinary Affaire directly benefit Hospice House of Williamsburg, a nonprofit social-model hospice that provides care to guests and their families at no cost, regardless of ability to pay.
The nonprofit said the 35th anniversary event will recognize the longstanding partnerships and community support that have sustained the Elegant Culinary Affaire for more than three decades, while looking ahead to the future of hospice care in the Williamsburg area.
