WILLIAMSBURG — Busch Gardens Williamsburg recently announced the return of Military Appreciation Week, set for June 30 to July 6.
The event features patriotic décor, military bands, concerts, specialty shopping and fireworks, offering fun for the whole family, according to the park. Plus, service members who show a valid Military ID receive an additional 10% discount on dining and shopping.
July 3 through 5, visitors can enjoy a patriotic fireworks display each night at 9:15 p.m. Plus, the Busch Gardens Concert Series continues with Queenz That Rock and Honky Tonk Chicks on July 4 and 5. All concerts are free with park admission and take place in the Royal Palace Theatre.
The park will also honor U.S. military active-duty and veterans with free admission to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA as a thank you for their service. U.S. military veterans will receive free one-day admission for themselves and up to three dependents. Veterans can register for this offer through June 22 and have until July 6 to visit the parks with their free tickets.
Active-duty military and three guests continue to enjoy one-day complimentary admission all year long — and between now and July 6 will receive three additional free tickets for dependents to share in the fun, according to Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
