WILLIAMSBURG— The Pavilion celebrated its 32-bed expansion with a ribbon cutting on Jan. 9 with the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce.
“The thing that I really feel when I’m in this room is that the people who work here are the heart and soul — and all the work you do, and of the new expansion — so congratulations to all of you,” said Terry Benaz, CEO of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce.
The Pavilion is a care treatment facility that specializes in depression, schizophrenia, anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder. The facility aims to provide a continuum of care including assessment, diagnosis, rapid stabilization and ongoing care and support, as well as 24/7 care with physician supervision, medication management and group therapy.
“I’m am very proud to be a part of this community. And just receiving the overwhelming response that I have from the Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia Hospital Association and just so many others that have supported me and also this hospital,” said Angela Pasley-Gich, CEO of The Pavilion.
The ribbon cutting was followed by refreshments.
