WPD Asks for Public Assistance in Feb. 26 Shooting Incident

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Police Department (WPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in providing additional information about a shooting that took place on Feb. 26, 2022.

The two individuals, Kaisen Dorrell Branch and Jymeke Maquan Carpenter, were charged with their suspected involvement in the incident. They were detained by WPD following the incident and transported to the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail (VPRJ).

The incident is an ongoing investigation at the WPD Criminal Investigations Bureau. The department is asking for the public’s assistance in relaying any information relating to this case.
