JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County (JCC) Board of Supervisors elected a new chairman and vice chairman during its annual organizational meeting on Monday, Jan. 3.
John McGlennon was elected chairman and Sue Sadler was reelected vice chairman.
McGlennon represents the Roberts District and has served on the Board since 1998, according to the county’s website. Sadler represents the Stonehouse District and has served on the Board since her election in 2015.
McGlennon replaces Michael Hipple as chairman, while Sadler returns as vice chairman.
The James City Service Authority (JCSA) Board of Directors elected Supervisor Ruth Larson as chairman and Hipple as vice chairman.
Larson represents the Berkeley District and was elected to the Board in November 2015 and reelected in 2019. Hipple represents the Powhatan District and was elected to the Board in Nov. 2013 and reelected in Nov. 2017.
