Local Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Resident

James City County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Brianna Rettig, an endangered 24-year-old female. She was last seen on July 11 at 2:30 p.m. (Courtesy of James City County Police Department)

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) issued a release on Monday, July 12, that it is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

Brianna Rettig, a 24-year-old female, was last seen on July 11 at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the 2200 block of Jolly Pond Road. She was on foot, wearing a black dress, black shoes and an orange scarf. It is believed that she left under voluntary circumstances.

She may be in need of assistance and is qualified as being endangered. She is not considered a danger to the public.
