NEWPORT NEWS — On Saturday, March 27, the Peninsula Chinese American Association will hold a rally to combat racism against Asian Americans.
“The rally is held [to combat] against the growing anti-Asian hate crimes in America, and to ask lawmakers to condemn the racism and curb the damaging effects of bias and violence in to society,” said Elizabeth Tai, board member of the Peninsula Chinese American Association.
The rally is on Saturday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Newport News Police Department, 9710 Jefferson Avenue.
