Monday is Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day but not everything in the Historic Triangle will be closed to commemorate the holidays.
James City County
“The county does not close for Columbus day, so everything is as normal,” said Renee Dallman, spokeswoman for James City County.
She added all the county facilities and the offices will be open on Monday.
Williamsburg
City offices will remain open on Monday.
On the city calendar is an Architectural Review Board Design being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stryker Center.
The Williamsburg Regional Library will also be open on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There are no changes to trash and recycling pick-up.
York County
County offices are open and there will be no change to garbage/recycling collection. However, the courts are closed
