A shooting in Virginia Beach is under investigation.
The Virginia Beach Police department said it happened around 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 12, according to a press release.
Police say the Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a report of a man bleeding in a parking lot in the 300 block of 21st street.
Police and EMS responded to the scene and located an adult male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Further investigation discovered that the mad had been shot in a hotel room of the Sun Dial Motel.
30-year-old Shannon Erin Loper, of Virginia Beach, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.
