A James City County man was flown to the hospital after being seriously injured in a car crash Thursday.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to single-vehicle crash at the 2200 block of Forge Road, according to the James City County Police Department.
Preliminary findings show the 52-year-old man was driving a 2000 Dodge pickup that went off the road, rolled and ejected him, authorities said.
Information on his identity has not been released.
The man suffered serious injuries and was flown to VCU Medical Center, police said.
Authorities said speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
An update on the man’s condition was not immediately known.
