Governor Northam has announced his budget. It will include one of the largest new investments in K through 12 education ever proposed in Virginia, totaling $1.2 billion dollars. The Governor told CBS-6 The people of Virginia have spoken.
The budget includes the single-largest increase for at-risk schools in Virginia history, and raises teacher salaries 3 percent, plus the budget will add funds for new staff postions.
