Residents can expect single-lane closures for pipe repair work on Route 199 (Humelsine Parkway) in York County starting Monday.
The 0.25 mile stretch of road is west of Lodge Road between Interstate 64 and Route 143, Merrimac Trail.
On Monday, the left lane will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Oct. 8; the right lane on Route 199 west will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to a news release from VDOT.
The pipe repair work is expected to be complete by mid-week, weather-permitting.
