The 1619 Wine Pavilion at the Williamsburg Winery is now open.
“This property was created for people to relax, enjoy great wine and food with friends and family,” said Patrick Duffeler II, the winery’s CEO. “The 1619 Wine Pavilion will enable us to provide a type of wine enjoyment experience unlike anything we’ve offered in our 30 + year history.”
According to the winery’s announcement, the two-level 2,600-square-foot deck overlooks two vineyards and was named in honor of the Acte 12 of 1619.
In addition, the pavilion has a dog- and kid-friendly outdoor terrace and a fire pit.
The 1619 Wine Pavilion at the Williamsburg Winery, 5800 Wessex Hundred is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Outside beverages and coolers are not allowed — customers can order wine and food from the Wine Shop or food from the Gabriel Archer Tavern during the week.
On the weekends, two wine bars are open at the pavilion. The lower deck is for kids and the second level is for those 21 and older.
