NEWPORT NEWS — ivWatch, a manufacturer of intravenous medical devices, is moving to the Tech Center Research Park.

“The move signifies our ongoing investment in the region and aligns our strong history of medical innovation with this budding business and entrepreneurial community,” said Gary Warren, president and CEO of ivWatch. “The Research Park is the type of space we need to expand our clinical and R&D [research and development] efforts, execute manufacturing and national and international distribution of our product, all while maintaining essential business functions like operations, sales and marketing.”

According to IvWatch’s announcement, ivWatch is expected to move into the 25,500-plus square foot space, 12050 Jefferson Ave. by June of this year with a ribbon cutting in August.

The manufacturer is combining its two existing locations in Williamsburg and Hampton to house its headquarters and research and development facility in one building.
