NORFOLK — Motorists should expect nightly closures of the on-ramp to Interstate 264 west at Market Street (Exit 9) as follows:
- Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
A signed detour will guide motorists to City Hall Avenue where they can access I-264 west (see below).
The Virginia Department of Transportation will be installing a temporary barrier on the Market Street on-ramp next week, which will narrow the ramp for at least nine months, while crew make structural repairs.
The ramp will remain open to traffic once the barrier is installed.
