
As the leaves change colors this fall, Yorktown is offering a way to celebrate the harvest season with the annual Fall Festival.
Yorktown Market Days will extend is hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday to offer a day full of autumn activities, according to a news release from York County.
The festival will offer a number of activities for children including face painting, hayrides, hay mazes, bobbing for apples, decorating pumpkins and carnival games.
Guests will also be able to shop from 50 different vendors and artists for seasonal items such as pumpkins, mums, kettle corn and caramel apples.
Artists will be selling painted gourds, photos, paintings, jewelry, stained glass, hand-woven baskets, and alpaca products.
There will be two live cooking demonstrations from Water Street Grille at 10:30 a.m. and Larry’s Alehouse & Deli at 12:30 p.m. as well as acoustic guitar performances from Phil Poteat from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Parking is free to guests, including the two-level garage on Water Street.
