Update 8 p.m. Wednesday: Police have arrested 18-year-old Blake Trenton McMillan, according to the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail database.
Police are searching for a man who allegedly threatened to kill and robbed another man in Williamsburg.
At 9 p.m. Sunday, Williamsburg Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Richmond Road after a man reported that his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, Blake Trenton McMillan, threatened to kill the victim earlier that night during a phone call. The girlfriend was not at the scene, nor did she have any previous reports filed against McMillan, said Maj. Greg Riley of Williamsburg Police.
The victim also reported that two weeks before the threats, McMillan, 18, and two other men had allegedly forced the victim into a car and displayed a knife. McMillan and the men then took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim, Riley said.
Warrants have been issued charging McMillan with abduction, robbery and making threats.
Anyone with information about McMillan’s whereabouts or the reported incidents is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the Williamsburg Police Department at 757-220-2331.
