WILLIAMSBURG — This year’s Williamsburg Christmas parade will be a “Miracle on DoG Street,” according to the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance.
The parade will kick off at 9 a.m. Dec. 1 at the intersection of Brooks Street and Richmond Road, the chamber said in a news release.
Inspired by the holiday classic “Miracle on 34th Street,” the chamber hopes this year’s theme “will promote a vast array of ideas for miracles of the holiday season, from the smallest kindness to large and amazing things.”
The parade will follow the same route as last year. It will begin at the intersection of Brooks Street and Richmond Road, then follow Richmond Road and the first block of Duke of Gloucester Street before turning onto Henry Street.
A judging stand will be set up outside Zable Stadium, the chamber said.
Interested groups can register online to participate in the parade. Registration is $30.
