ABC stores offer patriotic 17.76-percent savings

In true patriotic fashion, the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority is offering customers a 17.76-percent discount as part of its “Declaration of Savings” summer event.

The promotion will be offered Tuesday through Thursday (June 26-28), for 10 select brands including Fireball, Tito’s and Bacardi, Virginia ABC said in a news release. Customers will be limited to three 1.75-liter bottles per day.

While shopping, customers can enter to win assorted sweepstakes. Prizes will be drawn July 4 and include a $1,000 Visa gift card and a $100 ABC gift card.

Until July 2, more than 300 participating stores are offering complimentary 50-milliliter bottles of RumHaven Coconut Rum with any purchase of $25 or more as part of the largest ever Mini Monday event.

  • Fireball Cinnamon Whisky (glass and plastic bottles)
