Looking to get fit this summer or to learn how to play pickleball? Williamsburg Parks and Recreation will be conducting free classes May 1 at the Quarterpath Recreation Center.
Guests can sample classes in barre flow — a combination of basic ballet repetitions at the barre, movement across the floor, balance and constructive stretch and meditation — and good vibes only yoga — a slower-paced flow class geared toward those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class — in addition to a pickleball clinic.
“We are offering a free class pass to give people an opportunity to try our exciting adult classes.” said Robbi Hutton, Williamsburg Parks and Recreation director, in a news release. “In addition, many people have heard of pickleball but have never tried it, so now they can come out and learn from the pickleball experts.”
Classes will be offered at the following times:
- Barre flow: 6-6:30 pm
- Good vibes yoga: 6:45-7:15 pm
- Learn to play pickleball: 6-8:00 pm
