NORFOLK — Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a Friday night shooting that injured a juvenile.
Marvin K. Williams, of the 2500 block of Masi Street, is charged with malicious wounding, two counts of attempted malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied building, three counts of use of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by felon.
He is being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Friday night around 11:52, officers responded to a gunshot disturbance call in the 2500 block of Leo Street, according to a news release.
A home there had been struck by gunfire, police said. There were several people inside.
Later, a juvenile, who was in the area of the shooting, walked into a local hospital “with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand,” according to a news release.
No other injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.
