The Tabb Walmart will be open for emergency prescriptions only following a shooting in the store’s parking lot, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office tweet.
Those who need prescriptions should drive into the parking lot off Victory Boulevard and park at the One Stop Auto repair shop. A Walmart employee will be there to escort customers to the pharmacy.

York County’s Tabb Walmart is closed until further notice following a shooting in the parking lot, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation into the shooting continues.

One person was injured after they were shot in the Tabb Walmart parking lot Thursday morning.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office has one person in custody in connection with the shooting, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shelley Ward.
The emergency call came in around 9:33 a.m. reporting a person had been shot in the parking lot, located at 2601 George Washington Memorial Highway, Ward said.
The victim was alive at the time of the shooting and was transported to a local hospital, Ward said.
Multiple units were on scene as of 10:20 a.m. Thursday, and authorities are still investigating.
Police will release information as soon as it becomes available.
