VIDEO: Authorities seek man who stole charity donation jar from 7-Eleven

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who stole a charity donation jar from a convenience store counter.

On Dec. 26, an unidentified man stole the jar from the 7-Eleven, located on Bypass Road in York County, according to a sheriff’s office Facebook post.

Video surveillance shows the man grabbing the jar, pulling it until its tether to the cash register breaks, and leaving the store.

Anyone able to identify the man or provide information on the incident should contact the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office at 757-890-4999 or Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
