Police seek man in armed robbery at Lightfoot 7-Eleven

James City County Police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven on Richmond Road last week.

Police responded to the 7-Eleven, located at 6658 Richmond Road, around 10 p.m. Nov. 28 after an armed robbery was reported, according to a James City County news release.

The store clerk told police the unknown man had entered the store, brandished a black and silver handgun and demanded money, the release said.

He took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle, driving east on Richmond Road.

The man is described as a black male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes and black gloves with skeletons on them, the release said.

Anyone able to identify the individual in photos provided by police or who knows who may have been involved in this incident should contact Investigator Pennycuff at 757-253-1800 or [email protected].

Those with information may also contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to the Crime Line may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to an arrest.
