NORFOLK — Two men have been arrested and charged with robbing a Virginia Beach bank last week, according to police.

Marquis Larosa Buckley, 40, and Austin Lee Howard, 34, are accused of robbing the PNC Bank at 2422 Princess Anne Road on Oct. 13. According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, they went into the bank, demanded money and used a gun to shoot the ceiling of the building before leaving.

Howard, of the 600 block of Aubrey Drive in Virginia Beach, is charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of use of a gun and conspiracy.

Buckley, of Brunswick, Ga., is charged with three counts of robbery in connection with the Oct. 13 incident.

Both men are being held at the Virginia Beach Correctional Facility, police said.

Buckley is also charged with two counts of robbery, five counts of using a gun in the commission of a felony, two counts of entering a bank with the intent to commit a felony, two counts of possession of a gun by a convicted felony, threatening to bomb and possession of explosive material in connection with an Oct. 4 robbery.

According to police, Buckley allegedly went into the Fulton Bank, located at 3545 Dam Neck Road, showed a gun and stole an “undisclosed amount” of money. He left the bank and fled toward Princess Anne Road.

Buckley is accused of leaving an object behind in the bank, which led the Virginia Beach Police Department to send their bomb squad team to the scene; however, the object was determined not to be a threat.
