Live performances, art exhibitions to take over downtown Norfolk during annual NEON Festival

NORFOLK — The 3rd annual NEON Festival is bringing plenty of art exhibitions and live performances to downtown Norfolk.

The free two-day festival will be held on Oct. 19 and 20 and is hosted by the Business Consortium for Arts Support.

The festival will feature artwork and exhibits throughout the district from local, regional, and national artists.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a variety of live shows and performances at venues like Bearded Bird Brewing, Stark & Legum, Commune, Push Comedy and more.

The NEON District will also receive ten new murals, projects, and sculptures that will be revealed during the festival and spread throughout the area, pushing the total number of public pieces to over 50.

The festival will also feature food and drinks from local vendors like O’Connor Brewing Company, which will be providing the beer during the event.
