NORFOLK — A man who was hit by an SUV while crossing the street Wednesday night is in critical condition, police said.
According to police, the crash happened just after 7:45 p.m. when a man crossing the southbound lanes of the 7400 block of Granby Street was hit by a Toyota RAV4.
The pedestrian was brought to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he is in critical condition, police said.
The driver of the Toyota, who was not injured, stayed at the scene of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
