NORFOLK — Hampton Roads is a couple months away from hosting its first UFC experience, and the lineup of fights keeps growing.

UFC Fight Night 120 is scheduled to take place at the Ted Constant Convocation Center on Nov. 11.

The scheduled main event for the night will be a lightweight contest between Dustin Poirier and former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis.

Pettis, 26 wins to 6 losses, is ranked 13th in the UFC’s lightweight division and will head into Norfolk following a unanimous decision victory over Jim Miller at UFC 213 in Las Vegas.

Poirier, the number 8 lightweight, has a record of 21-5 and is coming off a bout with another former champion, Eddie Alvarez. The two punched it out in Dallas Texas at UFC 211. The bout was stopped in the second round and ruled a no-contest in a controversial call, according to Bleacher Report.

Fight fans won’t have to wait until the main event to see fireworks in the octagon, however.

It was announced Wednesday by bantamweight competitor John Dodson, 19-8, that he would be facing Marlon Moraes, 18-5-1, in Norfolk.

Both fighters are top 10 bantamweights, with Dodson at the 8 spot and Moraes two places down.

Also making her return to the UFC will be “The Ultimate Fighter” winner Tatiana Suarez.

Currently undefeated, Suarez, 4-0, will be entering the octagon for the first time since winning Season 23 of the popular UFC show.

She will be putting her record against another unblemished opponent, 13-0 Vivinae Pereira.

Barring any changes, the full card is as follows:

  • Anthony Pettis vs. Dustin Poirier
  • Matt Brown vs. Diego Sanchez
  • Nina Ansaroff vs. Angela Hill
  • Clay Guida vs. Joe Lauzon
  • Andrei Arlovski vs. Junior Albini
  • Nate Marquardt vs Cezar Ferreira
  • Karl Roberson vs. Darren Stewart
  • Marcel Fortuna vs. Jack Collier
  • Court McGee vs Sean Strickland
  • Tatiana Suarez vs. Viviane Pereira
  • John Dodson vs. Marlon Moraes

Tickets from UFC Fight Night 120 are scheduled to go on sale on Sept. 22. Prices have yet to be determined.
