NORFOLK — Police identified the two drivers killed in a head-on collision early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened shortly after 1 a.m. in the 2900 block of East Little Creek Road in the area of Nancy Drive.
Police say a silver Chrysler 200 driven by Hafeeza Sawyer, 39,of the 9500 block of 22nd Bay Street, was driving in the wrong direction when she hit a black Hyundai Sonata. Sawyer was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Hyundai, a 26-year-old man, was brought to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died.

Nobody else was in either vehicle and no other vehicles were involved, police said.
