Three people were arrested Wednesday night after police found a possible mobile meth lab in a vehicle.

James City County Police and the Tri Rivers Drug Task Force were executing a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Tanbark Lane when they saw a relative’s vehicle pulling up to the house around 7:10 p.m., James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams said.

The person left right after seeing the officers, Williams said, but police followed the vehicle and stopped it at a nearby Farm Fresh, located at 115 Norge Lane.

The vehicle was detained and investigated as a “possible mobile clandestine drug lab,” Williams said.

Virginia State Police, James City County Police and James City County fire and rescue crews were on scene as the investigation took place, she said.
