Alleged bank robber remains unidentified, police seek public’s help

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a York County bank in early June.

A man wearing a dress shirt and carrying a gun entered the First Advantage Federal Credit Union, located in the 200 block of Commons Way, on June 10 and took an undisclosed amount of money, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office news release.

Police described the man as about six feet tall, black with a slender build, the release said.

The man was wearing khaki pants, black tennis shoes, a striped dress shirt, a Redskins hat, a black face mask and dark glasses, police said.
