NORFOLK — A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the Young Terrace neighborhood on Monday.
The 22-year-old man was shot around 5:50 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Olney Road, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
He is currently in critical condition at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
The man is the third person to be injured in a shooting in Young Terrace in less than a week.
On July 19, a 7-year-old child and 38-year-old man were shot in the 200 block of Nicholson Street around 9:10 p.m. Both are expected to survive their injuries.
