NORFOLK — A man and a child were taken to hospitals after they were shot in Young Terrace on Wednesday night.
Police found the injured 7-year-old child and 38-year-old man in the 200 block of Nicholson Street around 9:10 p.m. The child was taken to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and the man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
Both are expected to survive their injuries.
