Original story:
Police are seeking a 32-year-old man in connection with the rape of a 17-year-old at a York County motel, police say.
Investigators believe Randall Drane threatened a 17-year-old girl not to call the police after he sexually assaulted her Saturday at a motel in the 8800 block of George Washington Memorial Highway, York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Shelley Ward said.
Deputies were dispatched to the hotel around 6:50 p.m. Saturday after the victim reported the assault, Ward said.
Ward said the victim had no other injuries besides those relating to the sexual assault.
Police are not yet releasing the reason the 17-year-old and Drane were together at the motel, but said they were known to each other.
The sheriff’s office posted on their Facebook Wednesday afternoon, requesting public assistance in finding Drane.
Drane’s last known address is at 417 W Pembroke Ave in Hampton. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Drane is listed on the sheriff’s office outstanding warrants list with charges of rape, unlawful use or injury to telephone line, assault and battery, object sexual penetration, abduction and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
