Active duty military and their families can attend the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond for free from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The three-floor museum features hands-on labs and interactive experiences in the fields of science, technology, engineering and match.
“We are honored to extend free summer admission to the families of the brave men and women serving our country,” Richard Conti, the museum’s director and “chief wonder officer,” said in a press release.

The free admission is made possible through a donation from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation.
“We are pleased to partner with the Science Museum of Virginia to help provide access to a national-caliber museum experience for the men and women protecting our country,” Hunter Applewhite, Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation’s president, said.
