James City County seeks resident input for drainage improvements

James City County is seeking input from residents for proposed drainage improvements in Toano.

The county is hosting a public meeting Thursday to discuss drainage, according to a news release from the county.  The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the Community Room of Fire Station #1 on Forge Road in Toano.

“Your input is needed to make sure the right improvements are made in the right places,” stated the release.  “Come, share your experience and help make this a successful effort.”

Areas that may be affected include the intersection of Route 60 and the CSX Railroad, Depot Street, Toano Drive, Chesapeake Avenue and portions of School Lane, Church Lane and Forge Road.
