Lights, cameras, road closures…
Roads in the Historic Yorktown area, including most of Main Street and several intersecting streets will be closed throughout the day due to filming for AMC’s “TURN: Washington Spies.” says the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.
Closures are in effect now and will continue until 8 p.m.
The following road have been closed:
1. Main Street between Smith Street & Church Street
2. Main Street between Ballard Street & dead-end (local access only)
3. Nelson Street between Ballard Street & Main Street (local access only)
4. Read Street between Ballard Street & Water Street (local access only)
5. Church Street from Marl Inn Bed & Breakfast (220 Church Street) to Main Street
Tents are up at the corner of Ballard and Main streets and other activity is going on in the area.
Travel may be affected. Motorists should seek alternate routes.
