Updated 8:05 a.m. The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office has added a new photo of a man who attempted to rob a Wells Fargo bank.
Police are seeking a man who they say attempted to rob a Wells Fargo bank in York County Tuesday morning.
A man entered the Wells Fargo, located at 110 Ottis Street, at 10:33 a.m. Tuesday, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office news release posted on Facebook.
He passed a note to a bank employee demanding money, then took the note back. He did not display a weapon, the release said.
In the surveillance photo provided by police, the white man wore a black baseball cap, sunglasses and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
The man may have left the scene in an older model gold Nissan Maxima or Nissan Altima, the release said.
