NORFOLK — Police will conduct a DUI checkpoint Thursday night.
The checkpoint in the 2700 block of Hampton Boulevard will begin at 7 p.m. and last until midnight, police said.
Officers will be looking for impaired drivers and other violations that could jeopardize the safety of others on the road.
The checkpoint is part of a national campaign called “Operation Checkpoint Strikeforce” and will be funded by a Department of Motor Vehicles grant.
