A bicyclist suffered non-life threatening injuries around 5 p.m. Wednesday evening after a car struck him on Richmond Road.
A vehicle was in the crossover between eastbound and westbound lanes of Richmond Road near the 7-Eleven convenience store, located at 6658 Richmond Road, when the incident occurred, James City County spokeswoman Stephanie Williams said.
As the woman in the car went to cross the roadway, toward the 7-Eleven, she collided with the man on the bicycle, Williams said.
The man was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, she said.
It is unclear which hospital he was transported to.
At 1 p.m. Friday, no charges had been taken out against the driver of the car.
