A man with a gunshot wound was found inside a Virginia Beach residence after an overnight shooting Friday, police said.
Dispatchers received a 911 hang-up call at 1:56 a.m. from the 900 block of Thousand Oaks Drive. While canvassing the area, a citizen flagged down an officer. Officers then located the victim inside the home.
The man was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Detectives are investigating the incident. No suspect information has been released.
