Update 6:12 p.m.: According to a news release from James City County Police, Rayleigh Cheyenne Bunker, a 17-year-old reported missing Thursday, was found safe at a residence on Centerville Road in James City County around 5 p.m. Friday.
Police are looking for a 17-year-old Lafayette High School student last seen leaving the school on Thursday afternoon.
Police say Rayleigh Cheyenne Bunker left the school in a white Kia Soul around 12:30 p.m. The car was found Friday at 9 a.m. at the Newport News City Park Visitors Center on Jefferson Avenue, said Stephanie Williams of the James City County Police Department.
Bunker is about 165 pounds and 5’2″ tall. She has brown hair, blue eyes and an elephant tattoo on her ankle. She takes medication for mental health issues and doesn’t have it with her.
