The College of William & Mary is closing Monday at 7 p.m., and will remain closed through Tuesday Feb. 17. Essential personnel are asked to call their supervisors for instructions.
Thomas Nelson Community College has canceled all Monday classes scheduled after 4 p.m. College offices will remain open until 5 p.m.
Williamsburg Montessori School will be closed Tuesday. The teacher work day is canceled.
Williamsburg-James City County Schools are closed Tuesday Feb. 17.
The York County School Division has canceled classes for Tuesday Feb. 17.
Walsingham Academy is closed on Tuesday. The Shrove Pancake supper has been canceled.
Williamsburg Christian Academy will be closed on Tuesday.
Government:
James City County Recreation Center and Abram Frink, Jr. Community Center will both close at 6 p.m. tonight. All county offices will be closed Tuesday.
All City of Williamsburg offices will be closed Tuesday.
All York County government offices are closed Tuesday.
Waller Mill Park and Quarterpath Recreation Center are closed Tuesday.
Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex is closing at 7 p.m. Adult Soccer games are canceled Monday night.
Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center are closed on Tuesday.
The Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse is closed on Tuesday.
The York-Poquoson Courthouse will be closed on Tuesday.
The Williamsburg Regional Library is closing at 5 p.m. Monday. It will remain closed on Tuesday.
Williamsburg Area Transit Authority is ending all service at 8 p.m. Monday night. Service is scheduled to resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, but that could change depending on weather conditions.
Curbside recycling in James City and York counties has been canceled for Tuesday.
Businesses:
Institute for Dance has canceled evening dance classes for Monday.
Ironbound Gym will close at 7 p.m. tonight. All evening classes are canceled.
Nautical Dog will be closing around 4 p.m.
Williamsburg Eye Care will be closed on Tuesday.
New Town Dental Arts will be closed Tuesday. The business plans to reopen at 10 a.m. Feb. 18.
Paisley is closing at 3 p.m.
Yogurtini in The Shops at High Street is closing at 5 p.m.
Activities:
Child Development Resources will be closed Tuesday Feb. 17.
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading at Smith Memorial Baptist Church is canceled tonight.
The Chesapeake Bank Coach Tony Shaver Show is canceled for Monday, Feb. 16.
Virginia Legacy Soccer Club practice is canceled for Tuesday Feb. 17.
The Web Wars information session scheduled at Bruton High School Tuesday night has been canceled.
Sports:
William & Mary Tribe Baseball has postponed its Feb. 17 game against the Virginia Military Institute until Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Plumeri Park.
The Conference 19 High School Basketball Tournament opening round has been tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday. Jamestown’s boys and girls are scheduled to play in the opening round, with the boys hosting Smithfield and the girls traveling to Smithfield. A 5:30 p.m. tip-off is set for both games.
The 2A East Indoor Track and Field Championships have been canceled. Qualifying athletes will compete at the state meet at Liberty University Feb. 25 and 26.
Military Bases:
Yorktown Naval Weapons Station is closed Tuesday Feb. 17 for non-essential personnel.
