An abandoned house trailer was burned to the ground Saturday night in James City County.
Multiple fire units responded to the scene in the 3600 block of Little Creek Dam Road off Chickahominy Road in Toano at around 7:30 p.m. to find the trailer fully engulfed in flames, Billy Apperson with the James City-Bruton Volunteer Fire Department said.
The fire was put out within 10 minutes, Apperson said.
The cause of the fire is not known, and investigators are currently analyzing the damage to the approximately 12-foot wide, 50-foot long trailer.
No one was injured and there were no other structures around the trailer exposed to the fire.
