The basketball gym and indoor walking track at the James City County Recreation Center will be closed through the weekend.
Crews will use the time to refinish the floor of the basketball gym. The work will produce lingering fumes, so anyone who has breathing issues should be cautious when using the walking track when it reopens Monday.
The basketball gym will remain closed until Nov. 28.
The James City County Recreation Center is located on Longhill Road and offers a range of activities, including a full gym, to its members.
